It is lightweight and the recessed blade design cuts all sorts of material; cardboard, twine, shrink wrap, plastic file, bags, seatbelts, zip ties and other sheet materials. An integrated tape splitter on either side makes this cutter even more versatile! Note the angle of the blades. This design helps reduce the potential for binding. Why a concealed blade? Concealed blades are not only safer for the user but also protect against product damage. A concealed blade will not damage sensitive package contents.
